The Role

As a Paralegal within our Commercial Dispute & Resolution team, you will support solicitors in handling a varied caseload of commercial litigation, disputes and contentious matters.

  • Assisting with matters including contract disputes, construction disputes, shareholder disputes and debt recovery claims
  • Drafting legal documents including correspondence, court documents, witness statements and letters of advice
  • Preparing instructions to counsel and undertaking legal research
  • Communicating with clients, insurers, experts and other professionals via telephone, email and correspondence
  • Attending client meetings, conferences and court hearings where appropriate
  • Managing and progressing files proactively to meet deadlines and achieve positive outcomes
  • Recording time accurately and supporting fee earners in achieving targets
  • Maintaining accurate records via the case management system and diary management
  • Supporting business development activity, including contributing to blogs and website content
  • Carrying out administrative tasks and supporting wider team activities

You will also have the opportunity to be part of a structured development and training pathway, with clear progression routes towards qualification as a solicitor via training contract or SQE apprenticeship routes.
